Returns & Exchanges

Aparajita takes great care in quality-checking every saree and blouse before it ships. As a small, independently run brand, we're not able to absorb return shipping costs or offer open-ended returns the way large retail chains can — please read this policy before ordering.

Returns & Exchanges are accepted only if:

  • The product delivered does not match what was confirmed in your order (wrong item), or
  • The product has a genuine manufacturing or quality defect.

In either case, we will re-fulfil your order with the same or a similar product, or issue store credit, after reviewing the issue. Each case is handled individually at our discretion.

We are unable to offer returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind, or the product not matching your expectation of colour/texture (screen colours can vary slightly from the actual fabric)
  • Products purchased during a sale or with a discount code
  • Any request raised more than 48 hours after delivery
  • Products that have been worn, washed, altered, or had tags removed

Before Accepting Delivery

Please inspect your package before signing for it. If it looks tampered with or damaged in transit, note this on the delivery receipt instead of signing as “received,” and keep the original packaging, tags and invoice until the issue is resolved.

Undelivered or Refused Orders

Orders that fail to deliver due to an incorrect/incomplete address, 3 failed delivery attempts, or refusal at the doorstep are not eligible for a refund of the product value. Shipping charges are non-refundable in all cases.

To report a wrong or defective item

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, date of purchase, delivery address, and clear photos/video of the item.

This policy may be updated without prior notice. In case of any conflict, our Terms & Conditions will prevail.
